1Q10.30 Ring, Disc, and Sphere

Place each of the rollers at the top of a shallow incline, using a ruler to hold them in place. Quickly remove the ruler, allowing them all to roll down the incline. The sphere should reach the end of the track first, quickly followed by the cylinder (disc), with the ring lagging behind.

An orange pool ball, a thick brown disc, and a wide metal hoop sit together on a table. All three objects have the same diameter. A wide inclined ramp appears behind them. A section of 2"x4" is clamped to the table just beyond the end of the ramp, presumably to stop the ball, disc, and hoop from rolling off the table.

Location: Ring and Disc: B1-3; Sphere: B2-4
