2A15.11 Soap Film Minimal Surfaces

Puncture various parts of the film that forms on a wire cube to get different geometrical shapes.

Soap films glisten inside a cube frame made of thin wire. The soap films form a shape like a square hourglass inside the frame.

The wire frame cube now holds a soap film along the bottom edge and the right side. It appears that a soap film is curving along the inside of the cube between the two sides.
