1K10.50 Rolling Uphill

A disc with a nonuniform mass distribution is placed on an incline so it rolls uphill.

A ramp is made of a wide board propped by a 2 inch by 4 inch pine block. Two large wooden cylinders rest on the ramp. Each one is thick enough to roll down the ramp without falling over (probably). Each one has a single radius line marked in red. One rests on the ramp edge-on, one rests face-on.

A close up of the two wooden cylinders on the ramp. One of the cylinders has been turned backward, showing that a brass mass has been set into the wooden cylinder near the rim.
