Derivation of the period of a ball orbiting in a spherical cavity. Make sure to use a rubber ball.

A tall man (Vacek) holds a spherical glass jar at least 30 centimeters in diameter. He is dropping a small rubber ball ("Hi-bouncing ball") into the bottom of the jar.

A tall man holds a large glass funnel, presses a small rubber ball ("Hi-Bouncing ball") into the side of a funnel, clearly about to release it.
