A potential well made from a large bicycle rim and Spandex.

This variation on the classic "rubber sheet" analogy for gravity is made of a piece of bright orange Spandex stretched over a wheel. A small steel ball and a ping-pong ball sink into a sharp-edged depression in the center of the fabric.

A side view of the Spandex 'gravity well' reveals a 1-kg mass hanging from a hook set in the fabric, pulling it down from below.
