Suspend lead brick and styrofoam brick and hit with hammer.

A lead brick hangs in a 'sling' made of two bright magenta strings. The strings are supported by a crossbar clamped to a vertical rod, such that the lead brick hangs to the right of the vertical rod in this photograph. The brick is held horizontally in the frame (as if it were a swing seat) and swings freely toward and away from the camera. On the left side of the vertical rod, a styrofoam block the size and shape of the lead brick hangs in a similar sling. The styrofoam block is also positioned to swing freely toward and away from the camera. A hammer bides its time on the table nearby.
