1D50.25 Conical Pendulum

A ceiling mounted bowling ball pendulum is used as a conical pendulum.

A bright green bowling ball is suspended from a length of chain. The bowling ball is held at least a foot above the classroom floor. The other end of the chain is fastened to a strut system anchored to the ceiling. A tall ladder appears in the background.
