1C30.41 Falling Drops

A strobe illuminates water dripping at an uniform rate, showing the effects of gravity.

This image shows an eyedropper fastened to a long tube. The tube runs from a sink, up along a table clamp, to a three-fingered clamp that holds the eyedropper end downward. The eyedropper is positioned in front of a white backdrop. An old strobe light stands on its own controller in the foreground, shining on the backdrop.

This image shows a close-up of the eyedropper held by the three-fingered clamp. A small c-clamp is fastened to the hose part-way along its length, giving the demonstrator finer control over the flow rate. A tiny drop of water shines at the tip of the eyedropper.
