Drop a penny and feather in a glass tube, first full of air and then evacuated.

A meter-long plastic cylinder has been capped at both ends with a penny and feather inside. A tube runs from the cylinder to a vacuum pump. A white backdrop provides a high-contrast background for the demo once the cylinder is evacuated.

Use a white background to make it a bit more visible
