1E10.31 Stick On A Wheel

A ruler placed on the top of a rolling wheel  moves twice as fast as the wheel or can.

A large orange-and-white ruler is supported by two soda cans sitting on their side on a table. The two cans are separated by slightly more than a can-length and are aligned to roll together with the motion of the ruler resting across them. A second ruler rests on the table itself, providing a stationary marker for the demo.
