1D15.55 Quad Track

Balls roll down an incline, brachistochrone, circle and parabola. The ball on the brachistochrone should win, but doesn’t because the brachistochrone slides before rolling. Smooth and sandblasted balls should be included.

A set of wooden tracks arch along a large L-bracket support. One track is a straight incline, another is a circular section, another is a parabola, and the last is shaped as a brachistochrone. Two polished steel marbles and two sandblasted marbles are shown resting on two of the tracks. The entire apparatus is at least a yard long and looks correspondingly heavy.
