5B20.10 Faraday’s Ice Pail
Charge a bucket with a Van de Graaff and try to transfer charge from the inside and outside of the bucket to an electroscope. Show charge is only on the outside of a hollow conductor.
Project an image of the electroscope using a video camera and television/projector.
Suitable for smaller classrooms.
Use in larger rooms.
